Ingredients for the Rava Coconut ladoo
  • 1.5 cup Super fine / Chiroti Semolina [Rava]
  • 1+1/4 cup Regular Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 3/4 cup Dry Roasted mix Dry Fruits - badam, Kishmish or Powder as per your wish
  • 1/2 cup Home made ghee or any other ghee
  • 1/2 cup Coconut fresh regular or scraped whichever your want.
  • 1/2-1 tsp Cardamon Powder
Instructions for making Rava coconut ladoo
  1. Method -Rava coconut ladoo
    1. In a kadhai or Pan take 1/2 cup of homemade ghee or any other ghee. Let it melt.
    2. Add 1.5 cup of super fine rava. Roast it till its light golden brown.
    3. Add 1/2 cup of fresh coconut. Mix well
    4. Roast it for 10 mins. Keep aside.
    5. Make the sugar syrup - take 3/4th cup of water. Add 1+1/4th cup of sugar. let it melt and cook the sugar syrup till it gives you a thread strand between your 2 fingers.  keep aside. Let the sugar syrup cool down.
    6. Add 1/2 tsp of cardamon powder to the rava coconut mixture.
    7. Add the dry roasted dry fruits or dry fruits powder.
    8. mix well.
    9. Add the cooled-down sugar syrup mixture to the rava coconut. Mix and keep it aside. let it cool down if it's hot.
    10. Make them into ladoo and enjoy.
