  1. Follow the steps -
    1. Take a pan. Add 1 tsp of Ghee. Let it heat.
    2. dry roast the dry fruits in it till they become crunchy and keep aside.
    3. Same pan take 1/2 cup of ghee.
    4. Add the superfine rawa / semolina 1/2 cup and roast it till it's light golden in color around 10 mins.
    5. keep the flame on low.
    6. Add 2 cloves and mix well. You can remove if you don't like the taste of laung in your kesari bhat but originally its there in the recipe and is the main ingredient to give the special taste in the kesari bhat.
    7. Add 1.5 cup of regular water. While adding water you can switch off the flame as it splatters on your hands.
    8. Mix well. Make sure there are no lumps.
    9. Now switch on the flame and keep it on low.
    10. Add the kesar strands, powder, or liquid.
    11. Add 1/2 cup of regular sugar.
    12. Mix well.
    13. Add the roasted dry fruits.
    14. Cook it till the entire water evaporates.
    15. Add a pinch of salt but this is optional.
    16. Cook for about 10 minutes on low flame.
    17. The Kesari bhat is a little soft in the dish.
    18. Serve hot and enjoy with your family.
    19. You can enjoy this dish any time as a dessert or for any special occasion.
